CIROBE, the Chicago International Remainder and Overstock Book Exposition, is strictly a trade show open only to attendees and exhibitors within the bargain book trade. This annual trade show takes place in Chicago every Fall. The fifteenth annual CIROBE will take place October 28-30, 2005 at the Hilton Chicago in downtown Chicago.
The thousands of booksellers at CIROBE come from small family-owned bookstores, large chain bookstores, internet book sites, and everything in-between. These attendees purchase bargain books, software and audio at great discount, some of which is never available again. By offering these bargains to their customers, these attendees create not just increased sales but customer loyalty and a distinctive, unique business identity.
One of the reasons CIROBE was created was to give publishers a marketplace to sell white sale books directly to bookstores.
