Exhibiting I : Exhibiting II

How to exhibit at CIROBE, continued

CIROBE's Chicago office handles all Exhibitor registrations. A contract and full payment are required for registration. CIROBE reserves the right to reject any exhibit application for any reason.

CIROBE is an ordering show.

CIROBE is set up for exhibitors to take orders for books in their warehouses, and then ship those orders after the show. Therefore, exhibitors bring lists or sample copies of the books for sale, or sometimes just dust jackets if they have a lot of books to sell. Sometimes, exhibitors prefer to sell off sample copies on-site rather than ship them back to their warehouse.

Drayage pack: Shipping, set-up, and break-down information.

Shipping, set-up, and break-down information is mailed to all registered exhibitors in a drayage pack beginning in August. Chicago's union rules mean that CIROBE does use a drayage company, which for the last eight years has been Freeman Decorating Company.

Exhibitor Badges

This packet also includes a form to request exhibitor badges for the personnel who will staff exhibitor booths. All exhibitor badges are picked up at exhibitor registration at the show.

CIROBE Trade Show Guide and Exhibitor Directory (Program)

The CIROBE Trade Show Guide and Exhibitor Directory is compiled in the month before the show and includes all the exhibitors at the show, as well as contact information and a short description.

Break-out rooms and suites are available to registered exhibitors, but there are minimum exhibit table requirements. All requests for these types of spaces should be addressed to the exhibits manager.
